The cross-talk between bilingual language control and general-domain executive control

This project aims at testing to which extent bilingual language control mechanisms are subsidiary to those of the general-domain executive control. We use different tasks supposed to involve bilingual language control (language switching, Stroop-like) and other non-linguistic tasks involving executive control (task switching, flanker task). We then compare the performances of all tasks in the same populations of bilingual in order to gather information about the cross-talk between the two domains, such as linguistic and non-linguistic ones.
