Cathegory acquisition in preverbal infants

In this research line we explore the process of category acquisition in bilingual and monolingual preverbal infants, that is, how and when infants can understand that a word is not link to a specific object but to a group of objects that share one or more dimension.
We want to study if differences in the linguistic background of the infants (bilingualism or monolinguism) will afect the representation of the category formed.
