Language production

Producing language in different modalities

With this line of research we aim at gaining a deeper understanding on the temporal course of lexical selection in speech production. Specifically, whether lexical selection occurs in a fixed time-window during speech production or if on the contrary is affected by the production task at hand.

We will do it by comparing the electrophysiological correlates associated to lexical selection in speech production with other types of production such as typewriting/handwriting or other production modalities as the signed language.
